- The "Midare Kasuri" Selvedge Denim stands as a unique offering from the denim pioneers at Studio D'artisan. Offered in the brand's modified Type-2 design, the jacket sports riveted construction and the signature Type-2 pleating at the placket. Translated to "disturbed" or "uneven", the Midare Kasuri fabric showcases an irregular slub yarn woven both vertically and horizontally, resulting in varied surface texture throughout the fabric. Woven at a low-tension, the fabric attains a rugged three-dimensional texture that accentuates its unique color. The final product undergoes a rinse to minimize shrinkage and is equipped with two large chest pockets waist adjusters at the hip.
